The following is a brief summary of your benefits, which are provided to CAMcare's employees. Some benefits are actually provided through various contractual arrangements and agreements with third parties. Heath Insurance, + Prescription, Vision
Coverage is provided for eligible full-time employees and their dependents. CAMcare pays 100% of the premium for certain plans for eligible full-time employees.
Upon completion of a ninety (90) day waiting period, employees are given the option to enroll in the plan. If you choose to participate, the coverage will be effective on the first of the month following completion of the waiting period, provided a completed application has been submitted to Human Resources timely.
Group Life Insurance
Group life insurance is available to all Full-Time employees who have completed ninety (90)days of employment with CAMcare. The amount of life insurance depends on your position and status with CAMcare and becomes effective on the first of the month following three (3)months of satisfactory service, provided the employee completed the necessary enrollment forms.
CAMcare pays 100% of the premium for eligible employees. A detailed explanation of the plan is available Human Resources.
CAMcare Dental providers are available for preventive dental care in lieu of dental insurance coverage.
You will be advised by human Resources of the amount of Vacation/Sick/Personal Time that you will accrue on an annual basis, A complete schedule of accruals by positions is available in Human Resources.
CAMcare provides employees scheduled to work 20-40 hours per pay period with eight (8) pro-rated paid holidays each year: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
An employee automatically becomes a participant in the Non-Contributory Plan when He/she completes at least 1,000 hours of employment with CAMcare; attains age 21; and has completed six (6) months of Credited Service. Plan descriptions are available in Human Resources.
CAMcare has an established tuition assistance program to encourage continuing education and help develop your technical, professional or supervisory abilities.
Full-time employees are eligible to participate after twelve (12) months of continuous service. An application for tuition assistance must be approved by your Supervisor and forwarded to Human Resources along with a copy of your registrations form showing the name of the course(s), tuition cost, and number of credits. Human Resources must receive all necessary data within thirty (30) days of registration. The course(s)must be a part of a degree program, which is either job or healthcare related.
Employees budgeted for 40 hours or more per pay period are eligible from date of hire for bereavement leave.
CAMcare recognizes jury duty as a civic obligation. If you are summoned for jury duty on a scheduled workday, you must notify your Supervisor immediately so the necessary arrangements can be made to cover your work while you are on jury duty service. When jury duty ends, you must present the jury duty reimbursement check to Payroll.
