Sandra Willingmyre, M.D.

Biography

Dr. Willingmyre is a native of New Jersey and grew up in Pennsauken. She completed her undergraduate education at the Univ. of Penna. She attended Jefferson Medical College, and did her internship at the Baltimore Public Health Hospital. She worked for Constant Care Community Health Center in Baltimore while in the National Health Service Corps. She finished her internal medicine residency and also served as chief resident at Cooper Hospital. She is board certified in internal medicine and geriatrics. She established a LEAP program at CAMcare in 1996 and is now a member of the Diabetes Collaborative Year 2 team. She has a special interest in prevention of diabetes by treatment of obesity, and also in the treatment of headache.
